Be My Neighbor

Less than half a year after the renovation started, the house next door is officially for sale. You could be my neighbor for $285K.

Interestingly enough, I note the house next door to our old place is also for sale, for $148K.

Neither of these homes has been occupied since the floods of ’05. They are top-to-bottom renovations.

  1. We have a huge amount of blighted housing and a huge homeless population. I don’t think there’s a glut of decent places to live. The rebuilds of the major public housing projects are still underway. Our population is still down from six years ago; we’ve picked up some new people but lost a good 100K in what’s looking more and more like a permanent displacement. We’d love to have you visit.
