Posting’s been a little thin here lately because we were on a two-week vacation, visiting friends and family in Indiana and Tennessee. But I’m back now and hopefully will get caught up soon.
In the meantime, here’s a bit of fresh good news to chew on: Xy had an interview lined up for today — we got back yesterday afternoon — and now she’s got a job. She’ll be teaching at the Andrew H. Wilson School in the fall. She was starting to get worried after a couple opportunities didn’t pan out. But now she’s back in the game. Watch out kids!

Congrats for XY! How did Tennessee go? Did you enjoy the smokies? I’ve got some news I’ll be posting soon.
A little closer to home too! We’ll miss her on the Westbank!
Congratulations Xy! Good news.
Wait, is this the Wilson in Broadmoor??
It’s kind of in Broadmoor but also kind of not. The building you remember was destroyed by Katrina, so the school is temporarily uptown, but they are rebuilding on the old site, and hope to move back to Broadmoor mid-year. Actually I don’t know any of this for sure, it’s just what I’ve inferred, so my facts could be totally wrong.
I am glad to know the good news. I hate being on the hunt for a job and the whole interviewing process.
All I can say for the kids at Andrew Willon is , “LUCKY!’ Think Napoleon Dynamite accent when you read lucky.
