Our dishwasher wasn’t draining properly. Since we got it less than a year ago it’s still under warranty. So Sears sends out a service technician. One of those deals where they say it’ll be between 8 AM and noon but can’t be anymore specific than that. I spent the morning waiting around, and of course the guy doesn’t show up until just before noon. He spends some time working on the appliance and eventually extracts a fragment of ceramic no bigger than my thumbnail. It’s a chip off one of our cheap-ass dinner plates. It got lodged down in the drainage workings and was just big enough to block it up.
Funny thing, though, we selected this model cuz it’s got a fancy removable filter, which should prevent such objects from getting down where they’re not supposed to be. I guess we must not have put it back in properly last time we cleaned it, which kind of defeats the purpose.
Ah, the mundanity.

B, out of context but Tying One On is on CATS right now!
I guess you got your old spot back! It’s the first time I’ve seen the show on for at least 2 years.
Later man.
