It seems that painting trim and windows is a lot more time-consuming and a lot less fun than painting the walls. I spent all day yesterday and today and I’m almost done. I’m working on the largest room in our house, the utility room. I prepped three weekends ago, did the ceiling two weekends ago, did the walls last weekend and now the trim. I’m on track to finish that room by the end of the month as per the schedule in my head.
One of the neighbor teens stopped by and asked if he could help to earn ten dollars, so I put him to work for an hour or so, taping and then painting the chainwall. He’s getting money together for his high school marching band uniform. He plays the cymbals.
My back aches. But at least the Saints won, and I now understand the game well enough that I can actually follow it on radio. Kind of.
