I cut the middle finger of my left hand while sawing some tree branches. It didn’t hurt at all, but it bled a lot. Fortunately I had Xy to help me ice it down, clean it and bandage it. The bandage has stopped the flow of blood so I don’t think stitches will be needed. Still, it sucks to cut yourself. I hate the sight of my own blood, and I feel pretty stupid for being careless with the saw.

Finger cuts are always messy. Of course, if you’d needed to flip someone off it woulda been colorful…
Golly, I’m glad it wasn’t worse, given your weapon of choice. Yikes! Leave the tree branches. 😉
Electric hedge trimmers can do substantial damage without the long waiting time required to saw through your finger !
Tell us how the stitches go. Karen and Jon spent 8 hours at Touro for Jon’s spider bite.
When I was 12 I helped my step-dad clear land for wood, new homes etc. He told me to go cut any small branches with a chain saw. While I was doing this task the chainsaw kicked back! The normal reaction is to push it back down, which I did. The bad part is I pushed it down right into my left thigh. It didn’t do much, but I feel your pain.
Wanna borrow my chainsaw B? 🙂
Can’t believe no pictures B!
