Planning Not To

Everyone’s working themselves into a tizzy over the Unified New Orleans Planning process. The local blogosphere is abuzz, to the point I’m not sure where to start linking. Me, I’m getting plenty déjà vu — so I’m sitting this round out. I’ll stay engaged with the actual grassroots effort in my neighborhood, but I’ll let my neighbors keep on top of the dysfunctional hegemony this time.

Be ready to dive back in, though – this one sounds like the real deal. At least, I can’t see them re-tooling the process yet again and making their deadline, so I’m thinking it’ll be “katy-bar-the-door” once November rolls around.

    best plan of action.
someone will end up mucking it up anyway, the big plan, i mean.

  3. I’m participating but only to be certain. There are already rumblings from the Lambert people who were hired by the Council that they’re still in. There are also rumors that C Ray may start an alternate process. So far, they’re just rumors but it’s what he’s done in the past. I remain skeptical.
